About me:
Hi! My name is Miss Phillips and I will be your 4th grade math teacher for the 2017-2018 school year! I was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina and attended Pitt County Public Schools. After graduating from J.H. Rose High School, I attended East Carolina University, and later graduate school to receive a Master's in Elementary Education. I love spending as much time as I can with family (especially my niece and nephews), reading, crafting, and traveling when time permits :-). I look forward to teaching you math this year as well as learning from each and every one of you. Here are some resources that we use in the classroom that can also be used at home. Math Homework: Please make sure that your child is practicing their multiplication facts nightly to become fluent with their facts! Homework will consist of reinforcement of skills/concepts learned in the classroom. Please make sure that students complete their homework nightly (Monday-Thursday)! Learning for the 1st Nine Weeks:
